Here at Loyola, I am organizer of the Virginia Tech and Putnam mathematics competitions. In addition to work with Loyola
faculty on placement and assessment of mathematics students, I have worked with the McGuire scholars, a dedicated cadre
of Loyola staff who are in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. Generally, I am interested in finding new ways to support
learning and dissemination of mathematics. My current area of interest is the connection between communication/social
networks and graph theory. Outside of the academic world, I have consulted for electrical engineers and lacrosse officials
in order to solve problems in machine vision and scheduling, respectively.
